Please find below the announcement email sent by TUBİTAK regarding the journals that will transition from the hybrid model to the Gold (full open access) model in 2027, as part of the Wiley Open Access Agreements.
"We would like to inform you that, as of 2027, certain Wiley journals will transition from the hybrid publishing model to the fully Open Access model.
This change forms part of Wiley’s commitment to promoting Open Access and supporting the evolving needs of the research community. All articles accepted for publication in journals transitioning to the fully Open Access model will be freely accessible, shareable and reusable from the moment of publication.
The journals set to make the transition have been identified following a comprehensive evaluation process that took into account criteria such as funding opportunities, the research community’s level of readiness and long-term sustainability.
Our aim is to ensure that this transformation creates value for both researchers and institutions, whilst contributing to a more open and accessible academic publishing ecosystem.
